Use Your GI Bill® at Walser
Walser’s Customer Specialist Training and Service Advisor Training Programs are approved On-the-Job (OJT) programs through the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs.
That means eligible Veterans, Guard/Reserve members, and qualifying dependents may be able to use GI Bill® education benefits while completing this 12-month paid training program.

Leadership Support
Walser leadership actively supports veteran and military member initiatives across the organization through its deployment send-offs, welcome-home celebrations, military appreciation month event, Veteran’s Day recognition, and more.
We also organize care packages for deployed team members and rally the company around personal notes and messages of support for those heading out on military leave.
Rewards & Benefits
Walser offers meaningful, practical support for team members serving in the Guard and Reserve. This includes 96 hours of paid leave for approved military training, plus a 20% pay differential for up to 12 months during active deployment.
Your 401(k) continues vesting while on approved military leave, and you remain eligible for cost-of-living adjustments upon your return. Your career shouldn’t pause when your service is needed.
Training & Development
We’re committed to building a workplace where military experience is understood and valued. Managers are provided with interview tools and training to better translate military experience into career pathways, and Walser offers a mentorship program that connects veterans with other veterans.
Community
Walser supports the veteran community beyond the workplace through meaningful partnerships and events. Team members can take part in initiatives like Flags for Fort Snelling and Wreaths Across America.
We also host military spouse and family meetups, offer a $250 military discount on vehicle purchases for life, and help raise awareness for the Support Our Troops license plate, where proceeds help fund programs that support military families and veterans.

Veterans at Walser (VAW) is our employee resource group dedicated to supporting veterans, active-duty service members, National Guard, Reservists, and military families along with allies who want to show up and support the our service members.
