What Is Sales Academy?
The Sales Academy is Walser’s premier internship track, designed for students who want to jump-start their careers in sales. You’ll gain hands-on experience at one of our Twin Cities dealerships, learning every step of the sales process, from managing leads and following up with customers to closing deals.
Real World, Hands-On Experience
This isn’t just shadowing, you’ll actively contribute as a member of the sales team. From day one, you’ll be working in a professional dealership environment, and developing sales skills.

THE EXPERIENCE
What You'll Do
Learn the sales process from start to finish in a real dealership environment.
Work directly with customers, manage leads, and support sales associates.
Participate in role-specific training, mentorship sessions, and professional workshops.
Collaborate on a Capstone Project that demonstrates your impact and present it to Walser leadership.
How You'll Be Evaluated
Every Sales Academy intern is evaluated on performance, skills, and future potential using Walser’s 9-Box Grid, a proven tool to identify rising talent. High-performing interns may be often offered full-time sales positions before graduation.
